発表概要
The book Japan, "Russia and their Territorial Dispute: The Northern Delusion", will be published by Routledge in 2016. The speaker will focus on Russia's latest thinking with regard to the territorial dispute over the Northern Territories. In particular, by emphasising issues of historical memory, as well as factors related to economics, security, and public opinion, the speaker will explain why it is becoming ever more unlikely that Moscow will accept any compromise on this territorial issue.
