Abstract of the Seminar
Currently, Washington and Beijing are in the middle of searching new normal conditions for their politico economic relations. Especially, policymakers and business leaders in the world are concerned about the two countries' domestic politics, and their policies toward trade and security, and energy and global climate.
The two Harvard scholars, Anthony Saich, Professor of International Affairs and Director of the Ash Center for Democratic Governance, and Edward Cunningham, Adjunct Lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School, will address a Japanese audience at the CIGS on these issues from an American perspective.
