Speaker's profile
Professor David Ogden Dapice received his PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 1973. From then on, he served as an associate professor and chair of Economics Department at Tufts University until 2016. He jointed Harvard University from 1990 as a faculty associate and chief economist of Indochina Program, and served as chief economist of Vietnam and Myanmar Program from 2000. He also has long time experiences of consultancies focused on Southeast Asia for the governments of Thai, Indonesia, and Vietnam, as well as international institutions (such as UNDP and World Bank) and universities.
