At the Harvard Kennedy School, the Program on Crisis Leadership (PCL) seeks to improve society's capacity to deal with various risks that the world may have to face.
In the session "Japan in Crisis: Exploring the Consequences of a Cascading Disaster", held on March 22 which dealt with the 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of Japan on March 11, 2011, Jun Kurihara, Senior Fellow of the Harvard Kennedy School and Research Director of CIGS, joined as a panelist and gave situational briefing of the crisis Japan is now facing.
